Welcome to Wrap and Joy. These Terms of Service apply when you visit our website or place an order with us. By using our website, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

About Us

Wrap and Joy is an independent UK-based gifting and lifestyle business founded by illustrator Ellen. We create our own original artwork and designs and curate products from independent artists, designers and makers.

Products

We do our best to display our products, colours, descriptions and images as accurately as possible. However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings, and minor variations may occur with handmade, printed or individually crafted products.

Product descriptions, prices and availability may change from time to time. Any changes will not affect orders we have already accepted, except where a correction or change is agreed with you or required by law.

Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. We will confirm acceptance in accordance with our order processing arrangements.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing or listing error, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will arrange a refund for any amount paid for the cancelled items.

If we need to make any changes to your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£). Any applicable delivery charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.

Payment must be made in full using one of the payment methods offered at checkout. Payments are processed securely through Shopify and its supported payment providers.

Shipping and Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe stated on the relevant product page or at checkout. Delivery times are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been agreed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. However, this does not affect your statutory rights if an order is delayed, lost or not delivered as agreed.

Please ensure your delivery details are correct when placing your order. We cannot guarantee successful delivery where incorrect or incomplete information has been provided.

Returns, Cancellations and Refunds

We want you to be happy with your purchase.

For most products purchased online, you have the right to cancel your order within fourteen days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. You then generally have a further fourteen days to return the goods after notifying us of your cancellation.

To cancel an order or arrange a return, please contact contact@wrapandjoy.com. Unless the goods are faulty or another legal exception applies, you may be responsible for the direct cost of returning unwanted items. Any refund due will be processed in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Some products are exempt from the usual cancellation rights. This can include genuinely personalised or custom-made items and certain perishable goods. Where an exception applies, we will make this clear before you purchase the relevant product.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or not as described, please contact us at contact@wrapandjoy.com with your order details and, where possible, photographs of the issue. We will work with you to resolve the problem in accordance with your statutory rights.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your legal rights regarding faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

Intellectual Property

All original artwork, illustrations, designs, photographs, graphics and written content created by Wrap and Joy and displayed on this website remain the intellectual property of their respective owners.

Our original artwork and content must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified or used commercially without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder.

Some products sold by Wrap and Joy are created by independent artists, designers and makers. Their intellectual property remains theirs or belongs to the relevant rights holder.

Limitation of Liability

We are responsible for providing products in accordance with our legal obligations.

To the extent permitted by law, Wrap and Joy will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated when a contract was formed.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you visit our website or place an order.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also benefit from any mandatory protections available under the laws that apply to you.
